How it actually works

Papertrade CREATE2 Deposits — HyperCore USDC Flow

Papertrade deposits use a deterministic per-user address designed to feel like a simple exchange deposit while remaining onchain.

Deterministic deposit addresses

Each wallet maps to a unique CREATE2 proxy address that can be derived before deployment. The launch flow ensures the proxy exists before it is used.

Sweep and finalize

A keeper monitors funded proxy accounts and drives the two-step Exchange flow: request a sweep of eligible Core balance and finalize the internal balance credit after the transfer clears.

Why proxies are used

The design isolates every user deposit address and avoids asking the user to manually send an approval-plus-deposit transaction sequence for the normal deposit flow.

Trust and verification

The factory, CREATE2 salt and init-code hash make the expected proxy address derivable. The documentation notes that accidentally sent EVM tokens are not the normal Papertrade deposit path.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Papertrade use CREATE2 deposit proxies?

The documented flow uses deterministic proxy addresses to support USDC deposit routing and sweep settlement.

Does a proxy address replace the user wallet?

No. It is part of the deposit flow and should not be confused with ownership of the user wallet.

Where is deposited USDC reflected?

After the supported flow completes, the protocol credits the relevant trading balance according to its accounting rules.
